Kamal to act in a Malayalam film after 24 years

Kamal has been signed to act in a Malayalam film. Sasi Surendaran who directed Four Friends is directing this film. All the films he has directed have been successful at the box office. Jayaram is doing the lead role in the film Four Friends.
Jayasurya and Meera Jasmine are also in the cast. When approached Kamal to act in this film, he agreed immediately since because he liked the story very much. The scenes pertaining to him will be shot in Chennai.
Jayaram is a close friend of Kamal. Both of them acted some 23 years back in a film titled Chanakya. Now they are joining once again after 23 years in a Malayalam film. There is also one more reason for Kamal to act in this film. That is because of his friend Jayaram.
When director Sasi Surendaran spoke about this, he said,” Kamal sir liked the story very much so he agreed to act in this film immediately. His role will be the turning point in the film. Heb also said that he agreed to act in this film because Jayaram is his very close friend. The shooting will commence on 10th of this month in Chennai.”
