The audio launch of Robot, the Hindi version Endhiran, in Mumbai was a grand affair with many Bollywood celebrities gracing the occasion. Notable among them were the Bollywood’s first family – the Bachchans. Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya, Abhishek and Aishwarya were present at the launch. The film’s music director AR Rahman was there with his wife. Yet another star winner, Resul Pookutty was also present. Answering to a question about Kamal and Shah Rukh being approached first for the role, Rajinikanth said at the press meet that took place at the JW Marriot on Saturday (August 14th, 2010), “Daane daane pe likha hai khane wale ka naam.” Speaking about the Big B, who launched the audio, Rajini said, “Amitji is my inspiration and I can't forget the films I did with him - Andhaa Kaanoon, Giraftar and Hum. I can't forget the love, affection, care he showed towards me at that time. Thank you very much the evergreen Amitji.” |
